CBT Grrrrrrrr

Hello

Im in a state of feeling silly, daft and embarressed. I went to do my CBT on Saturday and didint finish it. I was fine in the morning and went through the bike bits and bobs and got out on the pad. got on the bike pushed it around, got it off the stand and started it up. I went up in a straight line and went round the corner. I then went to start again and pulled hard and the throttle and nearly flew off. I got caught by a guy who was there and i just lost all confidence. I got back on the bike but just had to get off again. I just could not do it. My daughter had been missing for nearly 48 hours beforehand and the day before i had my midwifery interview. I was stressed and hungry as i had not had any breakfast and my mind was everywhere. Im so cross with myself. I need now to try and get some practice in and get back to doing this. I wish i had a bike to practice on so i think i may have to get a cheap one. Hubby can take me to a car park and let me go round and round.

Well the only answer is to get back on....

No you are NOT a wally you are brilliant. You must keep going we need you out there with us and I have every confidence in you. You had a real rough lead up to it all and you did well to get as far as you did. It would have been easy to have cancelled the day but instead you didn't and that's shows alot of determination so hang in there girl and get yourself back on that bike!!

Im getting back on. This Sunday. Im doing a moped CBT to gain some confidence and then going to move up to gears. I will get there and im going to take it slowly. Im sure i will be joining you all soon.

Lots of luck for Sunday, I know you will get there. One day we will see you zoom off into the distance leaving us all standing - well except for Traveller............not really only kidding!

she passed yey and is now practicing on travellers sons bike lets hope she doesn't start my trend of dropping them regularly

no she is very good was well impressed mind you I had to strap her to the bike first lol

As for riding fast where do you get that idea from lol I mearly pootle along enjoying the scenery and if I rememebr ravenshadow can move when she wants toooooo

Well im sure i will be soon taking my big test.

I have done the CBT, the theory and got a new jacket, boots and trousers so i am all ready for it now. BRING IT ON
